Staff

Dorothy Milne - Artistic Director
Dorothy has been the Artistic Director of Lifeline Theatre since 1999. She has directed numerous productions here including Around the World in 80 Days, Jane Eyre, Gaudy Night, The Talisman Ring and The Mark of Zorro. Outside of Lifeline, she most recently directed Stardust for Griffin Theatre and is a 14-year member of the writing-performing collective Sweat Girls, which performs in Chicago and nationally. Dorothy is also one of the organizers of the Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest, an annual arts/music/theater festival in Rogers Park.

Angelo Barone - Managing Director
Prior to joining Lifeline, Angelo was Director of Finance for Goodwill Industries in San Francisco, owned an art gallery in Rome and worked in the debt capital markets in Chicago for many years. Angelo received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan, a Master of Business Administration degree from the George Washington University and a Juris Doctor degree from George Mason University. He is incredibly excited to put his skills to use in a thriving environment that enables him to incorporate his strong personal interest in the arts into a career.

Frances Limoncelli - Director of Marketing & Education Coordinator
Frances is proud to be an ensemble member at Lifeline where she enjoys wearing many different hats. She has appeared in their productions of Pistols For Two, Precious Bane, Pinocchio, Bunnicula and as the title role in Mrs. Piggle Wiggle. She has also directed several productions at Lifeline including Simple Jim And His Four Fabulous Friends, The Story Of Ferdinand, Miss Bianca, and Cooking with Lard and most recently Queen Lucia; a musical romp. As an adaptor she created The Emperor's Groovy New Clothes and Somebody Loves You, Mr. Hatch with Queen Lucia's composer/lyricist George Howe and the Dorothy L. Sayers mysteries Whose Body? and Strong Poison. Frances graduated from the Boston Conservatory with a BFA in theatre performance and an emphasis in directing.

Erica Foster - Operations Manager
As Lifeline's Operations Manager, Erica is in charge of all audience services and oversees a staff of five, as well as managing the scheduling and maintenance for the theatre. Erica has stage managed many productions at Lifeline Theatre including Queen Lucia (which she also assistant directed), Johnny Tremain, The Talisman Ring, Queen Lucia, The Sirens of Titan, The Killer Angels, The Shadow, Around the World in 80 Days, Cat's Cradle and Cooking with Lard for the MainStage. For the KidSeries, she has stage managed Snowflake Tim's Big Holiday Adventure, Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type, and The Rescuers. Erica is also a member of Standing Room Only, an auxiliary board of Lifeline Theatre.

Cortney Hurley - Production Manager
Cortney is excited to be working with Lifeline Theatre again for the 07/08 season. Previous and current production management positions include Ellen Under Glass for the House Theatre of Chicago; One False Note with Plasticene; Creole with InFusion Theatre; Marathon ’33, A Lie of the Mind, and Aristocrats with Strawdog Theatre, where she is the mainstage production manager; as well as the Assistant Production Manager at Theater on the Lake for the last 4 years. During the school year Cortney can be found at St. Scholastica Academy, where she has been the resident designer (scenery and lighting) and technical theatre instructor/director for the last nine years.

Robert Kauzlaric - Casting Director
Robert is a Lifeline ensemble member and has been working with the company since 2000. He has appeared on the Lifeline stage in ten productions (including The Return of the King, Around the World in 80 Days, A Room with a View and The Mark of Zorro); served as Assistant Director for Johnny Tremain; adapted The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs!, The Island of Dr. Moreau, The Picture of Dorian Gray and Flight of the Dodo; and maintains Lifeline's website.
